Elc Cyberjaya opened its doors for the very .rst time on 6 September 2010. There was no fanfare and there was no fuss. It was straight to work. Clearly this school’s priorities were on the education of the children and setting the “academics first” ethos that has been established by its sister campus in Sungai Buloh.
Following in the footsteps of their sister campus, Cyberjaya is starting small and intends to grow to rival the other big international schools in the region. Although it does not intend to trade on its sister’s name, it will certainly follow their tradition of honest, hard work. The teachers feel it is only a matter of time before they will be giving the Sungai Buloh students some serious competition!
One of the Directors summarised elc Cyberjaya as the “same values, same commitment, new face”. Essentially the core of Cyberjaya will be made up of everything elc has built over the last 20 years but wrapped in a new parcel. Only time will tell if Cyberjaya reaches the heights set by its sister – but certainly the prospects are good.
