La Bodega, Malaysia’s first ever authentic Spanish Tapas Bar, has expanded yet again – this time to Subang Jaya. Opened its doors to the public on November 17th 2010, La Bodega @ Empire is a classic interpretation of its bigger sisters with the distinctive accents from each outlet including the terracotta tiles, deep reds and rich yellows together with the dark stained timber, distinctive art-work, iconic lighting and the famous montage of black and white photographic images of Spain in the 50’s – even the famous suspended wine rack is featured.
Set on the terrace of the lower ground floor of Empire Shopping Gallery, La Bodega @ Empire o.ers the signature “tapas” menu together with the sumptuous addition of the most popular picks from the Deli menu including breakfast, salads, sandwiches and pastas everyday from 8.00am right up to 2.00am.
Even the carefully chosen wine list that specializes in Spanish and South American wines will be featured along with the large range of Spanish Sherries, liqueurs and brandies. For those looking to emulate our trendy Catalan counterparts, the cocktail menu certainly spoils you for choice with an array of thirst quenching and head spinning concoctions. Cigar aficionados will feel at home with the impressive cigar humidor containing a fine selection of cigars hailing from Cuba and The Dominican Republic.
The main deck outside, with its polished timber .oor, and muted lighting, provides a rather intimate dining experience. Slightly removed from the shopping centre fronting a rhythmic water fountain, the terrace is a serene setting for conversations over cocktails, people watching and more delicious tapas!
Hasta pronto!
