English Premier League champions Manchester City FC won last night’s friendly against Harimau Malaysia, in a 3-1 victory.
Players Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and Adam Johnson each scored a goal for City, while Malaysia’s Azamuddin Mohd Akhil scored the nations only goal in the 87th minute, reports The Star Malaysia.
Malaysia’s coach, Datuk K. Rajagopal was quoted as saying that he had expected a tougher match from Man City. “We started well and tried to attack them on the counter but it was hard against City,” he said.
This is Manchester City’s first appearance in Malaysia, as part of their 2012 Summer Tour.
