The Summer Olympics returns to London for the third time and without a doubt, everyone will be tuning in to watch as their nation competes.
London was lucky enough to have been chosen to host the Olympics for the third time – the first in 1908 and the second in 1948 – beating eight other cities including Madrid, New York, Paris and Havana.
The Olympics is scheduled to take place from 27 July (the opening ceremony), till the closing ceremony on 12 August. Although all eyes will be on the new Olympic Park, viewers can still feast their eyes on iconic locations such as Hyde Park and Wimbledon. There are altogether 204 participating nations, and an estimate of 10,500 athletes taking part.
There will be a live telecast on ESPN Star Sports, right from the opening ceremony till the closing ceremony. Over the course of two weeks, Expat Go Malaysia will be keeping this page updated for those tuning in to ESPN Star Sports for coverage of the London Olympics.
