MPI Move Away From Promoting Residential PropertyMalaysia Property Inc (MPI), which was a joint private/public sector initiative to promote Malaysian real estate, is now only focusing on business-to-business investment. This means they are there to help foreign companies looking to buy or lease commercial property, but are no longer interested in helping residential buyers or promoting Malaysian properties to this segment.
When it was first set up, the objective was to help move residential property as well as commercial. This was to address the growing number of unoccupied higher end residential properties. It seems they have now decided this is not an area in which they want to be involved.
