The image of the Virgin Mary was spotted at the Sime Darby Medical Centre in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, on 9 November 2012. According to reports, a cleaner in the hospital spotted the image.

Since then, hundreds have flocked to the hospital to catch a glimpse of the image. Many gathered at the hospital with their Bibles and rosaries, singing hymns, praying and lighting candles.

Photos of the image which has gone viral on social networking site Facebook, shows a figure wearing a blue robe, with a halo above its head. Yahoo News says that this is similar to well-known depictions of Mother Mary.
