Fonterra cheese (Mainland), the best-selling cheese brand in New Zealand will soon be selling like hot cakes in Malaysia.
The best-selling cheese brand will soon be available in hypermarkets and supermarkets in Malaysia, roughly around June this year. The announcement was made during the recent New Zealand Week, held in Kuala Lumpur.
Mainland cheese was first developed in New Zealand in the 1950s. Built on generations of cheese-making, it is one of the most trusted brands –for cheese – in over 20 countries.
Malaysians will get to enjoy six different types of cheddars from the range; Mainland Vintage, Mainland Tasty, Mainland Tasty Light, Mainland Colby, Mainland Edam and Mainland Gouda.
Mainland’s cheese is made the traditional way (the way it should be!) where the cheese is left to age for 24 months. This brings out the full flavour of the cheese.
