The flash floods this past week has caused traffic jams, submerged cars and cause massive inconveniences among those in the Klang Valley. Unfortunately, the Meteorological Department says that the rain is expected to hit almost every day until May because it is normal during the inter-monsoon season. And yes, the thunderstorms are expected to (continue to) occur in the late afternoon and evenings giving all those heading home after work a massive headache.
The flash floods that hit the Klang Valley on Wednesday was the worst out of the whole week as many motorist were forced to abandon their vehicles and wade through the water which reached as high as their waist.
Areas that were affected by the flash floods are; Jalan Tun Razak, Jalan Parlimen, Jalan Duta, Jalan Pudu, Jalan Cheras Lama, Jalan Chan Sow Lin, Jalan Segambut and Bukit Bintang. Carparks in Pavilion KL and Sungei Wang Plaza were also flooded.
