Taking placed towards the end of this month is a conference aimed at changing the lives of women and girls all over the world. It’s a conference that encourages you to invest in girls and women. It’s called the Women Deliver 2013.
Women Deliver is a global advocacy organisation that brings together voices from around the world to call for action to improve the health and well-being of girls and women.
The organisation works globally to generate political commitment and resource investments to reduce maternal mortality and achieve universal access to reproductive health. The organisation also;
Fights to end the deluge of preventable deaths that kill approximately 287,000 girls and women from pregnancy-related causes every year.
Aims to deliver the message that maternal health is both a human right and a practical necessity for sustainable development.
Work towards expanding the community of partners dedicated to bettering the lives of girls and women.
Work with ministries of finance and health and global development experts to make the economic case for investing in girls and women.
You can take part in the Women Deliver conference when it makes its way to Kuala Lumpur this month, from the 28-30 of May.
