Hard Rock Cafe Melaka recently unveiled the “Treasures of the Hard Rock” at an exclusive event in conjunction with the ‘50 Years of Rock & Pop Fashion Tour’. This show is part of a global tour which will show off some of the most incredible fashion memorabilia worn by some of the most incredible musicians and artists over the last 50 years.
The tour (which opened its doors to fans for viewing on the 1st of June) will go on till the 7 of June. It will feature the pink waitress uniform worn by Britney Spears in her “(You Drive Me) Crazy” music video and Johnny Cash’s all-black suit which perfectly represents his legacy as the “Man In Black”. Also featured in the collection is Lady Gaga’s The Addams Family-inspired dress designed by Belgian designer, Toon Geboers, and the jacket worn by Ron Wood during his 60th birthday party in 2007.
“Treasures of the Hard Rock” began its tour in Hamburg, Germany in April 2013, and has stopped along various cities worldwide including Surfers Paradise, Sydney and Singapore. After Melaka, the tour will continue its journey to cities such as Phuket, Bangkok, Macau, Osaka, Tokyo and many more.
