The Star newspaper has reported that a 20-month-old baby was kidnapped from his home in Bangsar at about 6:20 pm, Friday, 8 November.
The mother was alone with the baby boy at their home while eating dinner on the porch when a man entered and grabbed the baby from his chair.
It is believed the kidnappers were driving a white Toyota Camry with a number plate identified as BKP 4386.
The boy’s name is Freddie and is the son of a British expat mother residing in a double-story link house in Jalan Terasek.
We urge all expats to keep watch and call authorities (dial 999) if you spot any suspicious activity.
LATEST UPDATE (2:12PM, 9 NOVEMBER ’13): We’ve just received word that the boy has been found, and he is okay.
