A.R. Rahman, a popular Indian composer, singer-songwriter, music producer and musician will be performing in Kuala Lumpur this April, 2014.
The concert, “Infinite Love” is organised by DML Live. The double Oscar-winning composer will be performing in KL for the third time. His first concert here was in 1996 (“Festival Night”) and the second time was in 2003 with other Indian vocalists; Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan and S.P. Bala.
Rahman was described as the world’s most prominent and prolific film composer by Time magazine. He was included in the magazine’s list of World’s Most Influential People. He has two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe, 4 National Film Awards, 15 Filmfare Awards and 13 Filmfare Awards South among others.
Rahman is also well-known in the international scene for his work on the 2008, Slumdog Millionaire, directed by Danny Boyle.
Tickets for the concert will be on sale starting this February. Ticket prices will also be revealed soon. The concert will be on 26 April at Stadium Merdeka. For more information, follow this Facebook page.
