LG Electronics is known for its affordable smartphones. In a move to surprise smartphone aficionados, the company recently announced that it will be launching three new smartphones in the L Series III series.
The products, named L90, L70 and L40 will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress scheduled to be held in Barcelona from February 24.
The L90 with its 4.7 inch screen, 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of internal memory and 8 megapixel camera is the most expensive smartphone in the series. The L70 has a 4.5 inch screen and 4 GB of RAM. All other specifications are nearly similar to the L90. The L40 is equipped with a 3.5 inch screen, 512 Mb RAM, 4 GB memory and 3 megapixel camera.
All three smartphones are preloaded with Google’s Android KitKit (4.4) operating system. The phones also have Quick Windows cover support. These covers allow you to check vital information on your phone, without even lifting the cover.
The availability and price of the models have not been disclosed yet. LG might be waiting for the official launch to reveal these details. It is expected that LG will bring the smartphones to Malaysia quickly after the launch, as Malaysia is an important emerging market for smartphones.
