Nexus International School will be having their Open Week from 10-14 March, 2014.
Parents are welcome to experience how Nexus International School develops its students to become independent learners, critical thinkers and high achievers. Open week is a great opportunity to see Nexus students and teachers in action.
During the Open Week, parents are able to meet with the school’s leadership team and it’s highly qualified expatriate teachers to find out more about the Primary and Secondary curriculums, and to visit Nexus Boarding School.
The Primary school follows the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and has recently been awarded the ‘Mastering’ status for its delivery by the IPC. In Secondary school, students study towards IGCSE examinations and then follow the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
At Nexus, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is fully integrated into the curriculum to facilitate learning and prepare students to become global citizens of the 21st century. Each classroom is fitted with an interactive Smartboard or wireless interactive projector. Students can also enhance their daily learning with the use of MacBook laptops.
Nexus International School Principal, Alison Hampshire explained, “We welcome parents to come and visit us during Open Week to see how the school plays its role to bring an international level education to our learners. Visitors are also able to get valuable information about programmes offered.”
