Future Music Festival Asia is Back Again!

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Future Music Festival Asia 2014 will be hitting Malaysian grounds again this week from 13 to 15 March 2014 at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur. Doors will open from 4.00 pm onwards throughout the three days.

As the largest music festival to ever hit Southeast Asian shores, the event will feature over 70 international and local acts with a variety of music genres from electronic dance music, trance and techno to electro house and dubstep, which will be performed on multiple stages over the three days of the event.

Organised by Future Music Australia and Livescape Asia with the theme of “Rumble in The Jungle”, this year’s festival will feature a very dance-centric list of artistes. Artistes expected to rock the stage are Pharrell Williams, Armin Van Buuren, Baauer, Deadmau5, Mackelmore and Ryan Lewis, Paul Van Dyk, Eric Prydz, Knife Party, Yuna, Sheila Majid and many more.

The Future Music Festival was originally an event that tours every year nationally across states in Australia only. However, as of 2012 the festival also made its way to Kuala Lumpur, making Malaysia the only country outside of Australia to host the event.

This year being the third installment, there is expected to be a total of 85, 000 revelers attending the festival.  This is a huge increase from last year’s strong crowd of 55,000.

Tickets to the event can be obtained from Rock Corner and Victoria Music outlets or online at www.AirAsiaRedtix.com or www.galactix.asia. You can either choose to get single-day passes or weekend passes (for all three days). Single-day passes are currently priced at RM248 while weekend passes are priced at either RM388 or RM428. There are also VIP tickets available at RM588 for all three days.
