A proposal to construct a helipad at the Titiwangsa Lake Garden will soon come to light, despite protests from local residents.
According to Federal Territories Minister, Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, the soon-to-be-built helipad could come in useful during an emergency, and could also be a new tourism product in which a helicopter tour of the city will be offered.
The minister also said that there were plans to bring back the giant Ferris Wheel aka the Eye on Malaysia, from Melaka to its original location in Titiwangsa Lake Garden, depending on the financial situation.
