The latest from Samsung’s Galaxy line of smartphones, the Samsung S5, was first announced at the Mobile World Congress in February, and it is now available for consumers in Malaysia. The device, made to be superior to the iPhone 5S and 5C models, was launched on April 11, 2014, via the country’s popular carriers Celcom, DiGi and Maxis. The phone will be available via U Mobile on April 25.
The product is available for a price of RM2, 399 and devices were sold during on-round sales at the launch locations in Penang and Klang Valley. Samsung also launched its smart watches Gear Fit and Gear 2 along with the S5.
All in all, the Samsung S5 is one of the best high-end smartphones available to the Malaysian consumers today.
