Have You Heard of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship in Putrajaya?

The Red Bull Air Race World Championship is making a pit stop in Putrajaya, Malaysia!

The championship took a three-year long hiatus before coming back this year. The race kicked off in Abu Dhabi on the 1st of March, and will run all the way through to November where it will end in China. Other than Putrajaya, the race will also make pit stops (altogether the race will be staged in 7 countries in 3 continents) in Rovinj, Croatia; Gdynia, Poland; Ascot, United Kingdom, Dalls/Fort Worth, and Las Vegas.

Fans can expect to see big names such as Peter Besenyei, Hannes Arch, Michael Goulian, Yoshihide Muroya, Kirby Chambliss and the defending champion, Paul Bonhomme.

There are 8 races altogether and Putrajaya will play host for the third race in the series. Malaysia will also be taking part in the race with Halim Othman competing with the world’s best and fastest challenger pilots.
