Pediatricians have given the go ahead to bring your baby out of the house by the time they are 6 weeks old. So, even though your little one may appear tiny and delicate, there’s no reason to keep them cooped up at home. Apart from bringing your baby out for a stroll in the park; here are some edutainment and enrichment activities around the Klang Valley you should check out with your precious bundle of joy.

It has since blossomed into a thriving centre with branches in over 33 countries!
The class curriculums at Gymboree Play & Music were developed by experienced child development program directors. These curriculums were designed to be age-appropriate activities that help develop the cognitive, physical and social skills of children as they play. The age-appropriate classes are:

- Music – 6 months – 5 years
- Art – 18 months – 5 years

The Baby Sensory programme has been specifically designed to stimulate the baby’s senses from birth, to help your baby develop. Every Baby Sensory class begins with a “Say Hello” song with simple signs to go along. Each activity is done using a combination of original and traditional songs and rhymes to develop early communication skills; the instructor also explains what your baby would get out of the activity.
There are various baby activities aimed at building a vocabulary of sensory experiences (e.g. visual, auditory and tactile), to enhance physical contact (massage, reflexology, touching, cuddling and rocking) between you and your baby, and to promote the development of speech through the use of sign language, music, song and puppets.
Baby Sensory classes are designed for babies from birth to 6 months, and 7 to 13 months, while the Toddler Sense classes are for babies from 13 to 18 months, and 18 months to three years. Toddler Sense focuses on mobility, excitement and adventure. Activities are short, dynamic and fun, with a clear sense of purpose. Children are guided on adventures to the stars, through the jungle, underwater and to different places around the world.
Baby Sensory is in Sri Hartamas, and Subang Jaya. Themed parties can be organized with adventure tunnels, bouncy castle, disco and light shows, parachutes and action games.
