A biopic of the famous painter Margaret Keane (Amy Adams), whose artistic style of painting children portraits with abnormally big eyes made it her distinct trademark. The story explores the rise of popularity – not of her rightful talent – but of her paintings for which her cunning husband (Christoph Waltz) took credit for. But over time when the feminist movement takes place, Margaret gets an awakening.
