American rock star Lenny Kravitz will be performing in Kuala Lumpur this March, in conjunction with the Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix.
Born Leonard Albert, Kravitz is also a record producer and actor. His style of music incorporates elements of rock, soul, R&B, funk, reggae, hard rock, psychedelic, folk and ballads. The singer also won the Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for four years in a row (1999 – 2002). This was a record breaking achievement for a singer in that category. Kravitz has also won awards at the American Music Awards, the MTV Video Music Awards and more.
The singer will perform at the after-race concert of the Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix. There will also be performances by local acts. The concert will be held at the Sepang International Circuit helipad on the 29th of March. The concert will be opened to all F1 race ticket holders, with no extra charge.
