A traditional British pub is always going to have a certain holiday feel during the month of December, even if that pub is located in Malaysia. That was indeed the case at our last Mingle – expat favourite Sid’s Pub was all decked out for Christmas, and Minglers brought gifts to leave under the tree for distribution to a local orphanage. Pub food was plentiful, and we saw platters of spring rolls, chips and salsa, BBQ chicken wings, spicy tuna mayo bites, and even delicious English mince pies being paraded through the venue, all washed down with cold Heineken beer from GAB and a selection of red and white wines. Even after the free flow hours ended, Sid’s offered happy hour all night long for draught beer and house pouring spirits!
Lucky draw prizes saw delighted expats winning vouchers for Sunway Lagoon and Berjaya Theme Park, select F&B venues, bottles of wine, and a 3D/2N stay at Bloo Lagoon in Padangbai, Bali! Thanks to all those who joined us and we will see you next time!
