At Davey Jones Locker, a rather curiously named Bangsar pub that was the venue for our recent Expat Mingle, it was clear that the rainy season had arrived in KL in earnest, as plenty of expats dashed in with umbrellas and wet shoes. Within an hour or so of the event’s beginning, however, the rain mercifully tapered off, and expats were able to fan out a bit. The cosy pub was easily filled by Minglers, despite the rain keeping the turnout a bit lower than usual.
Cold Tiger beer, courtesy of GAB, was plentiful, as were choices of red and white wines from Cronier Wines. A few bar bites made their way around, and expats enjoyed the company on hand and waited for the lucky draw. The fortunate winners this time enjoyed F&B vouchers for area restaurants, vouchers for dental services, complimentary TEG Card memberships and subscriptions to Senses of Malaysia, and a 3D/2N stay at the Royale Bintang Seremban. Thanks to those who joined us, and we hope to see you again at the next Expat Mingle.
