Malacca is definitely one of Malaysia’s most popular states for tourists. The state’s historical landmarks, museums, buildings and galleries are also popular tourists’ spots, next to its food and shopping.
With up to 36 museums and galleries to visit, it can be difficult to cover everything in just a few days. In fact, Google, the Melaka Museum Corporation (Perzim) and a local tech firm Kezerk Imaging also understand how difficult it can be, which is why these three have partnered together to allow you to do virtual tours via Google Maps.
According to Paul Koh, Kezerk Imaging director, this is a corporate social responsibility programme that was aimed at preserving the historical, cultural and traditional assets of the country. This project also aims to assist local and foreign tourist to obtain accurate information conveniently on the various tourist destinations.
