The KL-Butterworth Electric Train Service (ETS) is expected to be ready next month, according to Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
According to the minister, there will be a test run first with the federal and Perak government leaders, from Ipoh to Kuala Lumpur, to test the effectiveness of the service before it becomes fully operational.
“The ETS will be a boon for people living along its route. I will announce when it will be open to the public on July 9 and the packages that will be offered,” said the minister.
