The latest Wine Dinner was held at Fuzio, a swanky Italian-Fusion bar and restaurant located on a quiet street near bustling Changkat. The guests were first served generous portions of freshly baked in-house breadsticks, paired with Placido Pinot Grigio and Placido Chianti wine. The guests then took their seats to start off the dinner with the appetizers, and were impressed by the presentation of the Fuzio Antipasti, setting the tone for an enjoyable and pleasant evening ahead. The appetizers consisted of cecina ham, smoked duck breast, lamb salsciccia, carpaccio di salmone, tomato caprese, eggplant involtini, tomato bruschetta, and an assortment of cheeses. The bites were accompanied by a delightful Almadi Pinot Grigio.
Then, the guests were served the main course, which consisted of a choice of Stinco di Agnello al Forno (baked lamb shank with porcini risotto), Fuzio Coniglio (baked rabbit served with sautéed vegetables), or Risotto alla Marinara (porcini risotto with tiger prawn, mussel, scallop, squid, and giant clams in a rich tomato sauce). The lamb shank was paired with Vigneti Al Poggio Chianti wine, while the rabbit and risotto were accompanied by Tre Fattori Barbera. Whatever their choice of entrée was, the food and wine were well-received by the guests.
For dessert, the guests were served a delightfully creamy Pannacotta with mixed berries, ending the meal on a high and sweet note. The relaxing ambiance of the restaurant, impressive presentation, not forgetting the delicious food and wine, all played a part in making this month’s Wine Dinner a success.
