Canadian singer and songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen will be heading to Malaysia for the first time this coming September. The singer will be making her debut at the MTV World Stage Malaysia 2015, at Sunway Lagoon’s Surf Beach.

MTV broke the news on the singer’s debut via an Instagram post, saying; “@carlyraejepsen to perform 1st time in [Malaysia flag emoji] at #worldstagemy! She really really really really really really likes you!”
Famous for her catchy songs such as “Call Me Maybe” and “I Really Like You,” the singer will join MTV’s announced line-up of performers for MTV World Stage Malaysia 2015 – Korea’s favourite K-pop idol female group Apink and hottest Japanese band SEKAI NO OWARI.
MTV World Stage Malaysia 2015 will be recorded live for a global telecast. The one-night only outdoor event aims to bring multi-genre talents onto a single stage. More acts will be revealed in the coming weeks.
