The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar is now the proud owner of the world’s most expensive Mack truck.
According to Bernama, it took a year to build the Super-Liner at the manufacturer’s Wacol headquarters in Brisbane.
The truck, decked in the Johorean state flag, is furnished with a built-in barbecue pit, two flat-screen TVs, a stone-top kitchen, a double bed, and the furniture’s are adorned with 72,000 stitches of gold thread! It also boasts a solid-gold tiger hood ornament.
The price is unknown, but according to reports, it is way over the previous record of A$481,000 for a customized rig.
Johoreans will be able to check out the customized Mack Truck soon when the Sultan takes it for a charity run at the end of the month.
