At the recent Pearson Medallion Awards Ceremony, held in Kuala Lumpur on 5th September 2015, five pupils from Marlborough College Malaysia received awards recognising their achievements for gaining the highest marks in Malaysia in the Edexcel IGCSE examinations. The award winners were Ameer Chugthai for History and Religious Studies, Anya Igwe for Religious Studies, Edward Chai for Science, Frederico Smith for Spanish, and Richard Lai for Geography – a remarkable success for the College as it reflected on the first year of Marlborough’s IGCSE examination results. The prestigious awards were presented by Her Excellency Vicki Treadell, the British High
Commissioner to Malaysia, and were a fitting tribute to the pupils who had worked tirelessly to achieve success in the June 2014 examinations.
