TEG, publishers of The Expat magazine, and other print and digital media, are looking for people to help them grow their presence in Johor and Iskandar. Over the last two years we have increased our coverage of the southern state by holding periodic events for expats and giving the region more editorial coverage.

In 2016, we will plan to increase the number of events in Johor and explore ways to source more information about the region.

We are seeking expats or locals living in the Johor region who can provide support in any, or all, of the following areas:

• Providing local support for the events we host for expats.
• Writing articles about this part of Malaysia and the people who live there.
• Helping to sell print and digital advertising to businesses in Johor.

Appropriate compensation to be discussed, based on the specific skills and contribution of the selected person. Also, note that these opportunities are best suited for people seeking part time work.
