Established in 1992, Allegro Music & Arts has grown into a premier specialist music studio of more than 200 students and 20+ professionally trained faculty members. We offer stimulating group and private courses in music, art and dance in a supportive, comfortable and fun environment.

Allegro is committed to success. We enjoy a reputation for excellent results both in public performance and external board examinations. Former Allegro students can be found internationally, attending esteemed music schools in the UK, the United States and beyond, many on scholarships!

At Allegro Music & Arts, we believe children are born with music in their souls and a natural enthusiasm for the arts. It is our mission to nurture young students to develop the innate potential for creativity, expression and joy through the arts and to encourage each student to achieve at the highest level of his or her ability.

Allegro’s Early Learning Programs

Designed to set the stage for musical learning, Allegro offers group classes for children ages 2½ to 7.

Toddler Music Course (ages 2½ to 3½): A course to help children discover the joy of music! Basic music elements such as rhythm, movement, and singing are covered, as well as simple percussion instruments.

Allegro Music Foundation (ages 4-5): This course lays a solid groundwork for music fundamentals including rhythm and pitch development and music appreciation. Includes rhythm and pitch development, singing, musical notation, and more!

Allegro preparatory Piano Course (ages 6-7) This is a one year group program to support students’ musical and technical development on piano. A fun and relaxed environment, this course offers a head start in music where students benefit from learning self-expression, concentration, coordination, and cooperation.

Specialist Music Courses

Private Tuition (ages 6 and up) Weekly or bi-weekly lessons are offered for a variety of instruments, all taught by a mix of foreign and local professional musicians. Currently we offer private tuition for piano, violin, viola, cello, harp, flute, clarinet, guitar, saxophone, percussion, and jazz piano.

Group Study: Private tuition students benefit greatly from ensemble study, where they can expand their repertoire while having fun and cooperating with their peers! This also broadens ability and experience. Ensembles are currently available for Junior and Senior Strings, Choir and small ensemble groups like duets and quartets. Group study students are also entitled to participate in weekly visual art classes free of charge!

Dance Department

Headed by Russian-born ballerina Natalya Uruzova, Allegro’s dance program includes body movement classes for children ages 2-5, as well as the serious study of classical ballet following the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance. Allegro Music & Arts is proud to have its very own Dance Studio with fully functional Rehearsal Room facilities.
