Based in Bangsar, Kool Kidz is an Australian franchise childcare and kindergarten that was opened in September 2014 as a purpose-built facility licensed for up to 70 children. It is equipped with fantastic age-appropriate indoor and outdoor equipment and teaching resources, and has inviting and interesting play-spaces for children to explore and enjoy.

Kool Kidz caters for children from 8 weeks to 6 years of age and offers the unique Kool Beginnings Curriculum, which is based on the Australian Early Years Framework. The curriculum aims to deliver the absolute highest quality learning outcomes for a child whether they attend for just a day, a week, or as part of our Kindergarten program preparing for their school life.

Kool Kidz recognizes the early years (from birth to pre-school) as a time which can heavily influence the potential of a child’s future years, so Kool Kidz offers:

• An emergent curriculum
• Learning, guiding and intentional teaching through play with lots of encouragement in a positive learning atmosphere
• Interesting content and a variety of themes and topics offered throughout the year
• Individual and group project work initiated through children’s interests and educator’s observations
• Fun activities, games, and songs for all age groups
• Free individual expression in children’s artwork through a wide variety of art materials
• Verbal and written reports highlighting individual learning and development and progress in all key areas
• Visits from members from our local community and specialized learning events
• Better than required educator-to-children ratios

For children under the age of two years, personalized Kool Kidz communication books are sent home on a daily basis to help promote active and honest communication between the families and educators.

Of course, Kool Kidz places a high emphasis on the safety of the children; therefore only registered parents and educators are allowed to enter and exit the facility with the use of our biometric fingerprint scanners. Also, there are two guards stationed at Kool Kidz Bangsar at all times. Kool Kidz also practices an “open door policy” whereby parents are able to visit their children at any time of the day during school hours.

Kool Kidz would like to welcome all interested families to visit the school at any time from Mondays to Fridays between 8.30am to 5.00pm. In addition, a 45-minute induction is offered for you and your child to experience the Kool Beginnings Curriculum with our qualified educators.
