School snaps: Sri KDU student enjoys golfing success
This article is brought to you in part by Sri KDU International School (SKIS).
Joanna Low Ji Ting from Sri KDU International School (SKIS) has achieved third place in the Royal Selangor Golf tournament (ladies category) which was held in July 2015.
At just seven years old, the spark for golf was found, and Joanna’s parents knew that golf was for her. She was closely coached by her father, and motivation from friends helped her to overcome the difficulties experienced in this sport.
“Golf is mostly a mental game involving strategies,” Joanna said. “I have my dad to thank for teaching me the rules of the game and for his support of my involvement in this sport. SriKDUians, continue to hone and practice your respective hobbies and skills! Without a doubt there will be obstacles along the way, but in order to strive and improve yourselves professionally, you cannot do so with your hands in your pockets to climb the ladder of success.”
