The thinness is determined by the number of knots – the more knots the better,” he added with a smile. According to Reza, as Malaysia is blessed with a tropical climate, homeowners should opt for woollen carpets or wool-and-silk mixed carpets, but he advises homeowners to use an underlay to protect the carpet from having direct contact with the floor and recommends cleaning the carpets by sending it to professional carpet store every two years.
