The International School @ ParkCity students performed at the launch of ‘Education is GREAT’ in Putrajaya on 23rd February 2016. The purpose of this event was for Malaysia and the UK to renew their commitment to enhancing key areas of trade, education, and investment. To keep with the British theme, our Secondary Orchestra performed music from the James Bond movie Skyfall, followed by a piece from Elgar, and a wonderful rendition of “Space Oddity” as a tribute to David Bowie.
After a few speeches by honoured guests, it was then the turn of Portia and Athena who left the audience astounded with their self-created poetry recital. It was quite moving to see ISP students perform at such a high-profile event; undoubtedly an experience to be savoured. ISP is now welcoming applications for the September 2016 enrolment and information on the school can be obtained at www.ISP.edu.my.
