The International School of Kuala Lumpur is holding an Open Day for its Elementary School on Tuesday, 7 June, 2016. The event, for prospective students in all years from Prep Reception to Grade 5, will run from 10am until 12 noon at the school’s Melawati Campus in Kuala Lumpur.

About the school
Established in 1965, the International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) was the first fully accredited international school in Malaysia.
The school is a private, not for profit, parent-governed school accredited in the United States through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and internationally through the Council of International Schools (CIS).
ISKL provides education for expatriate children residing with their families in Kuala Lumpur as well as academically qualified Malaysian students.
The programmes offered include:
- Prep Reception (3 years old)
- High School diploma
- International Baccalaureate diploma
- Advanced Placement courses.
More than 1600 students attend ISKL from more than 60 countries. The school offers an educational program that includes academic programs as well as athletics and activities.The faculty comprises highly qualified and experienced professionals, two thirds of whom hold post-graduate degrees and the Board of Directors is composed of parents elected by the parent community. Parents also volunteer through the Parent Teacher Association and Booster Club.
