As part of its charity fundraising for the Dignity Foundation, Sri KDU International School (SKIS) hosted the graduation event for the students of Dignity School. It was graced by Dato’ Teo Chiang Quan, Chairman and Executive Director of Paramount Corporation Berhad, who founded KDU Smart School Sdn Bhd.
The highlight of the evening was when the group of 15 outstanding students from Dignity received their academic scrolls for achieving excellent grades in the IGCSE examinations. Among them was valedictorian Sara Manzoor, who has been offered a scholarship to study for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at SKIS. She wants to become a neurosurgeon.
Another student, Lim Go Soon, who was the best skills training graduate and aspires to be a pastry chef, has been offered the opportunity to attend a culinary programme in KDU University College at its Utropolis Glenmarie campus. These deserving students have experienced very challenging circumstances at a young age and have certainly achieved much at this moment in their lives.
