For fans going to the Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix this weekend, Express Rail Link (ERL) is offering a KLIA transit package from KL Sentral to the Sepang International Circuit for the race. The journey will take less than 50 minutes according to ERL, from KL Sentral to KLIA in 28 minutes via the KLIA Transit, followed by a 15-minute ride to the circuit via a dedicated shuttle bus service.
This actually sounds like an excellent option, especially since there is no need to spend any time looking for parking which will definitely be a messy affair, with thousands of spectators expected to show up. Taking the package also means avoiding the inevitable traffic jam on the day, so you you’ll be a lot happier and less stressed than those who opted to drive to the circuit.
The packages on offer are as follows per person for anyone aged 7 and above:
- Return trip on all 3 days: RM200
- Return trip on Saturday and Sunday: RM170
- One-way trip (no return available) on any day: RM55
You can buy these transfer packages at ERL ticket counters at KL Sentral, KLIA, and KLIA two or purchase them online at www.sepangcircuit.com.
