1. Its 230 acres are so close to town
An oasis of calm in the heart of one of the most thriving locations in the Klang Valley, the thrilling 230-acre, 27-hole East and West courses lie within the bustling centre of Damansara and so it’s just just under half an hour’s drive away from Kuala Lumpur city centre.

Built upon the natural terrain of a former rubber plantation, the East Course was first opened in 1993 was said to be “designed to bring out the best in any player”, for high handicappers and professionals alike.
As it is named now, the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort first opened its doors in 1994. The manicured green landscape framing Tropicana rustles and whispers the legends of golfers such as Daniel Chopra and Malaysia’s golfing elite which include the country’s royal family.
3. The clubhouse is not just for golfers
The Tropicana Clubhouse is the biggest in Malaysia and is an elegant venue to host your upcoming event whether it’s a wedding, holiday party or meeting space for your corporate gathering. Opened in 1994, the 450,000 square feet Clubhouse features three distinct wings: the Main Wing, the Golf Wing and the Sports Wing.
The Spanish-styled Clubhouse boasts comprehensive facilities such as five international restaurants, one Grand Ballroom, three function rooms of all walk-throughs. On Fridays members and guests dance the night away during Retro Friday evenings.
4. Swimmers and shoppers will enjoy it too
The facilities also include a state of the art driving range, a fully equipped sports centre and a clubhouse with restaurants and facility centres such as a convenience store, clinic, boutiques, osteopathy and chiropractic centre, kindergarten, florist and more.
Also on site are an Olympic-sized swimming pool, medical facilities, shopping outlets and sports amenities that bring professional services and leisure to the old, young and young-at-heart. On Fridays be charmed by the evergreen tunes of yesteryear as members and guests dance the night away during Retro Friday evenings held every week.
