1. Infrastructure and security

The highways are easily accessible, for example the MEX will get you to KL in 20 minutes. The Kampung Pandan, Kuchai Lama and Seri Kembangan interchanges are some of the entry and exit points on the highway. To get to the airport, simply take the KLIA Transit that stops at both Cyberjaya and Putrajaya. There’a big police headquarters on Jalan Cyberpoint 5 and most residential areas are gated and guarded, with CCTV all around.
Cyberjaya’s brother, Putrajaya, lies just 10 km away but takes over the administrative functions of Kuala Lumpur and is part of the Multimedia Super Corridor project of the Malaysian government.

2. Work, education and investment

To some, Cyberjaya is a ghost town but to others, it’s a haven away from the noise and congestion of the capital yet not too far a drive to get to. With Cyberjaya aspiring to be the Silicon Valley of Malaysia, the properties there are considered great investments.

If travelling to KL on a daily isn’t your cup of tea, as it is officially known, Cyberview Sdn Bhd hosts 40 multinational corps and 800 ICT companies, so there are plenty of job opportunities right around the corner from home.

Having your children studying close to home is usually the desired option for parents. Here we have ELC International School and Nexus International School located close by and there are five tertiary schools: Kirkby, Multimedia University, Limkokwing, Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC) and Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences.

3. Social life and leisure

Futsal, paintball and swim meets are part of the Cyberjaya community lifestyle. D’Pulze Shopping Centre has pretty much everything you need and also has a good nightlife with venues such as Hops&Grapes, The Cooler, and Karma bar and lounge.

There’s also the Alamanda Mall and night markets in Putrajaya. The Putrajaya lake is known for it’s watersport activities such as flyboarding, wakeboarding, canoeing, sailing, waterskiing and also cruises for a chilled evening. The lake hosts an international fireworks competition annually and the park hosts regular running events.
