School Snaps: Sri KDU poetry slam

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

During PoetryWeek at Sri KDU International School, students from Years 6-10 participated in poetry recitals while preparing for the Poetry Slam competition. Finalists performed an interpretation from a selected anthology of poems on stage in front of classmates and other year group students. Students wrote their own original poetry and have been exploring different methods of performing poetry. The students eloquently expressed and articulated their versions of famous poems and impressed the panel of judges and teachers with lovely renditions of classical poetry. Everyone who participated gave inspiring, remarkable performances.
