Scheduled water disruption in Klang Valley until 24th December

Starting 19th December 2016, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) will be conducting maintenance works at the Bukit Badong substation. Therefore, the nearby Sungai Selangor water treatment plant will be shut down for the duration of the works.

As a result, many areas in the Klang Valley will experience a disruption in their water supply. Affected areas include Petaling, Klang, Shah Alam, Kuala Lumpur, Gombak, Kuala Langar, Hulu Selangor, and Kuala Selangor. To ensure that the water supply at the plant is distributed efficiently one the plant is up and running again, water supply will be distributed zone by zone according to a schedule from 19th to 24th December.

Syabas has offered to send water tanks if your area is still facing a disruption in water supply after 24th December. To request for a tanker, text TANKER<space>Name and address to 15300 and Syabas will deploy one as soon as they can.

Zone 1

Water supply will be cut off at 8am on 19th December and resume starting 4pm, 20th December. At 9am on 21st and 22nd December, water supply will be cut off in stages and resume, in stages as well, from 4pm on 23rd and 24th December.

Zone 2

Supply will be cut off starting 8am on 19th and 20th December and resume again in stages starting 4pm on 21st and 22nd December. On 23rd and 24th December, water supply will be cut off again at 9am and resume at 4pm the next day.
