This post is brought to you in part by www.kltrillion.com.
Set to be one of the most coveted integrated addresses in KLCC, KL Trillion is a combination of a Green Building Index grade ‘A’ office block, five levels of commercial space, and two 39-storey serviced residence blocks.
With a total of 368 units of residential space, numerous leisure facilities, and 24-hour CCTV monitoring, KL Trillion provides all the necessities of high-rise living in the heart of Kuala Lumpur – but it also has a few hidden bonuses for expats considering renting or buying a unit (or more) in the condo. Here are some the highlights of the new property:
1. Exclusive two-acre Resort Deck facilities
It’s pretty common nowadays for expat condominiums in KL to have a squash court or a pool or even a sauna. But at KL Trillion, everything is available – and all of it is encompassed in a fifth-level, two-acre (87,120sq. ft.) Resort Deck. The two-acre Resort Deck is equivalent to a combined 17 bungalow lots of 5,000 sq.ft. each!
There’s a 50-metre Olympic-length swimming pool, a gym and clubhouse with exercise equipment, Jacuzzi, a tennis court, and even a 350m jogging path.
Other indoor facilities include: multi-function hall; cafe and convenience store; launderette; nursery; pavilion; and squash court. Also available dotted around the property are: water feature garden; children’s playground and pool; al fresco deck; cabanas, a few BBQ pits; scented garden; and kitchen garden.
2. It’s on Jalan Tun Razak and still easy to get to Ampang Park LRT station
KL Trillion is found on the eastern side of Jalan Tun Razak, one of the main ringroads for the city. Despite being in such a useful place for expat drivers, it’s still an easy 400 meter to walk to Ampang Park LRT, because of the pedestrian overhead bridge.
This means that you’re not only walking distance to The Intermark and the 5-star Double Tree Hilton Hotel but also the iconic sights of Kuala Lumpur, such as the Petronas Towers and Suria KLCC, but you can easily access KL’s entertainment district Bukit Bintang via public transport.
3. Units have white goods and mountain views
As to be expected, the property is split up into Standard Unit and Penthouses. The Standard Units come in six types:
- Type A – 963 sq ft/89.5 sq m
- Type B – 1,485 sq ft/138 sq m
- Type C – 2,065 sq ft/191.8 sq m
- Type D – 3,101 sq ft/288.1 sq m
- Type F – 2,506 sq ft/232.8 sq m
and the penthouses come in three types:
- Type E1 – 4, 224 sq ft/392.4 sq m
- Type E2 – 5,088 sq ft/472.7 sq m
- Type E3 – 6,274 sq ft/582.9 sq m
But what may come as a surprise is that every unit comes furnished with built-in kitchen, wardrobe, hob, hood, oven, fridge, and washer-dryer. Another pleasant change from the norm is the choice to take in a countryside vista from your balcony, despite being in the heart of the city’s hustle and bustle.
Both blocks of the KL Trillion are laid out to accommodate only four to six units per floor – and two of the larger sized units look out over the Genting Highlands. The remaining units naturally offer a great lookout over the the twinkling city skyline.
4. The property has next-level security
KL Trillion is surrounded by perimeter fencing with CCTVs, and each home has an intercom system with a built-in call-for-assistance facility linked to the guard house. There are access cards to the lift lobby and a security control room that operates 24 hours a day.
5. There’s a 20% deferred payment scheme**
A ‘deferred payment scheme’ is the fancy legal term for ‘buy now, pay later’ – which means that with just a 20% deposit paid and signed Sale and Purchase agreement, expats can become tenants and move can move in and pay the rest of the freehold payments up to two years later.
