The month of March is a busy time for the Sixth Form at Marlborough College Malaysia as the College hosts two very important events for these students.
The first of these events is the annual Careers Fair; local industry professionals are invited to speak to pupils about their jobs, to explain why they entered their different professions and to give advice on the academic subjects needed for roles in their particular industry. Marlborough will host a number of representatives from a wide variety of careers from the finance, science, and creative industries.
The second annual event is the University Fair, where international university admissions officers come to the College to speak to students about how to apply.
This year we have 57 top universities attending from eight different countries. The afternoon includes talks from universities on how to write effective personal statements and panel discussions on topics related to university entrance.
Both events are part of the wider expert advice provided for Marlborough College Malaysia students as they look to life beyond secondary education.
