AISM recently celebrated its 10th year as a Taylor’s Education Group School. To mark this important occasion, the School awarded a total of ten 50% fee-reduction scholarships and five 30% fee-reduction scholarships in an Honours Assembly to talented students entering the School in any year level between Year 6 to Year 12. The scholarships offer up to seven years of tuition support to new students not currently attending AISM.
The Scholarship Awards are based on the strength of the student’s academic performance, co-curriculum involvement, character, and communication skills. The financial situation of the applicants were also taken into consideration.
The 50% fee-reduction scholarships were awarded to students who have outstanding and consistent academic performance, while the 30% fee-reduction scholarships were awarded to students with consistently good academic performance.
In addition these scholarships, three students were also successful candidates who each received full scholarships to enter the two-year pre-university programme for Year 11 and 12, which leads to the Higher School Certificate (HSC).
The scholarship is based on the strength of the student’s academic performance, strong background in other school activities including good leadership, sport and the arts and school and community involvement. The scholarship, to the round value of RM170,000, covers the cost of Application Fee, Admissions Fee, Tuition Fees, and Technology Fees for the pre-university program.
