The spotlight descended upon R.E.A.L Schools, Shah Alam Campus recently when a TV crew from the Astro Supersport channel visited the campus to shoot a segment of its popular Wonda Football Countdown show.
Two students from the campus’ R.E.A.L International School (RIS), Azfar Ezzat See and Miytesh Subbiah, were interviewed by Wonda Football Countdown presenter Patrick Kinghorn as part of the show’s ‘Football Whizzkids’ competition.
The popular competition, which was participated by several international schools from within the Klang Valley and Selangor, required the two ardent football fans to answer a range of questions on their favourite football teams in as quick a time as possible. They performed extremely well, answering all their questions correctly and shooting up the points leaderboard as a result. And, in addition to Football Whizzkids, a number of other R.E.A.L students were also asked of their ‘predictions’ on the big English Premier League game that took place that particular weekend, Manchester City versus Chelsea. They were then featured on the preview show during Astro’s coverage of the big match, which ended 1-3 in favour of Chelsea.
