Recently elc International School held their annual International Understanding Day. The theme this year centred on Seasons and what that meant for different cultures around the world. The elc students created games, sold food, sang and danced, and in the process taught us how different cultures and backgrounds celebrate the different seasons around the world. The fun kicked off with a packed crowd watching the Lower Primary students’ seasonal performances. Festivities continued throughout the School with the Secondary Division students setting up colourful game stalls and the Upper Primary students standing shoulder to shoulder with parents and teachers at the food stalls. The dust may have settled for another year and the students are now gearing for end of year exams, but they can be proud in knowing that the elc family managed to raise over RM40,000 for Assisi Palliative Care, Independent Living and Training Centre Malaysia, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Mary KL & Spina Bifida Association Malaysia (Sibiam).
