The annual Labuan International School (LIS) nine-side Open Football Competition came to a successful close, with a total of 32 teams participating in the two-day event on 16-17 September 2017.
The champion of the tournament was Pantai Football Club followed by Fly (Labuan Air Force) Football Club as the first runner-up with the result of 2:0. The third and fourth places were held by KDM Football Club and Malinja One with the result of 1:0. The prize was presented by the chairman of Pristine Era Sdn. Bhd. Datuk Ahmad Hizzad Baharuddin, with the champion walking away with a RM1,000.00 cash prize and a medal. Meanwhile, Fly Football Club received a RM700.00 cash prize and a medal.
The objective of this competition was to promote Labuan International School and also to strengthen and foster teamwork and collaboration between LIS members and other organisations.
