The end of 2017 saw R.E.A.L Schools, Cheras Campus hold its annual art exhibition, the ‘Meraki 2.0 Art Festival & Carnival’, to showcase the artistic talents of students, teachers, and several guest artists. The exhibition featured a collection of paintings and other forms of artwork that creatively utilized a mixed bag of media and materials.
The exhibition also marked the 1st anniversary of the campus’ Bella Café. To celebrate this milestone, ‘Bella Vintage’ – a clothing line by the student designers and teachers – was unveiled. There were also street dance performances, a mini theatre (‘The Arena’), and a mini carnival that offered snacks, games, and souvenirs.
All paintings were put up for sale and part of the proceeds was donated to selected charitable organizations. All in all, Meraki 2.0 provides students a unique opportunity to pursue their talents, passion, and interests.
