1. The Mingle KL

2. Kavin Jay: Anger Management Live Stand-Up Comedy Tour 2018
Kavin Jay will be setting foot in 8 cities across Malaysia and this nationwide tour is said to be one of the largest national comedy tour in Malaysia. 3. Selangor International Indigenous Arts Festival 2018
Held on the lush grounds of Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam, the Selangor International Indigenous Arts Festival (SIIAF) is a wonderful showcase of the rich and varied cultures of the region’s biggest tribal groups since 2015. Organised by Tourism Selangor, the festival is in conjunction with the worldwide World Indigenous People Celebration, which falls on August every year. The Selangor International Indigenous Arts Festival 2018 is a good chance to discover more about Malaysia’s indigenous people especially from Selangor.
This year, the two-day festival set a target to draw more visitors, who enjoyed the cultural performances of domestic and international indigenous tribes, along with food tastings of traditional cuisines of Peninsular and East Malaysia. There were also plenty of food trucks serving food and drinks for visitors and a photo contest to win prizes. Tourism Selangor also comes with initiative to create Malaysia Book Of Record with the longest indigenous traditional chicken bamboos!

4. Publika Jazz 2018
Publika Jazz is the largest annual jazz festival in Malaysia, showcasing international and local line-up of Jazz musicians. The two-day Jazz Festival held at The Square, Black Box, and The Social has grown with a strong reputation for showcasing many different genres of jazz from all eras, performed by over 100 musicians consisting of established artistes as well as upcoming musicians. Artist line-up includes Tiga Soul, Havana Social Club, Q Sound & The 2nd Line, and much more. Admission is free.

5. IQ.Rock Restage
Back by popular demand the Anomalist Production’s IQ.Rock will be staged at Blackbox, DPAC in Empire Damansara, PJ. The confrontational play tells the story of FELDA-born Azim, raised in a rural town, but yearns to know of the world outside the FELDA settlement. 6. Postmodern Jukebox
Following their successful 2016 Malaysia show, Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will return to Kuala Lumpur for a one-night only performance on the 16th September 2018. 8. Kelab Malam Bijan
Bijan Bar Restaurant is throwing an early Merdeka party and everyone’s invited! The Kelab Malam Bijan party will be an evening to reminisce the golden era of the sixties via performances by local artists from the arts, music, and fashion industry. Guests can look forward to a fun night of music, dancing, fashion, and food. Think ‘joget’ or ‘ronggeng’ with cabaret girls, alongside delicious Malay food and accompanying wines.
Chef Syawal has created a menu to showcase the Malaysian heritage filled with unique, rich, and colourful flavours that transcends the decades. 10. Boyzone 25th Anniversary World Tour 2018
